Turf Europe srl

Turf Europe srl was founded in 2009 by experts with over 10 years’ experience in building and maintaining turfed areas of all types, and in carrying our scientific and applied turfgrass research. In 2010 Turf Europe obtained the status of University of Pisa Spinoff Company, with the entry of the same University among the company’s partners. Turf Europe is a partner in several European and Italian R&D projects and its personnel are authors of over 30 turfgrass-related scientific or technical articles.

The innovation projects aims for the development of HD multi-spectral and IR (thermography) remote sensing of the agronomical status of herbaceous crops, with provision for cloud upload of images, pixel geo-referencing and cloud-based image interpretation via neural networks.
