GlucoSet

GlucoSet is developing a fiber optic interferometric glucose sensor for intravascular use in the ICU - the sensor measures glucose response in a smart material on the tip of the optical fiber).

To develop an on-chip optical interrogation unit for a glucose sensing application. The project covers technology and specification feasibility, initial design of the chips made as photonic integrated circuits (PICs) combined with designing an optical package to fit and assemble the proposed PIC into an interrogator device.
