Officina Stellare is an international engineering company, and a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of complex opto-mechanical and aerospace instrumentation for ground-based and space-based applications.

The aim of the innovation project is to design, assemble and test an Adaptive Optics (AO) telescope that mounts a deformable mirror. The instrument will be specifically designed for optical communication links. The idea is to be the first company worldwide to offer a telescope with an embedded adaptive optics system for next-generation optical communications.
