Plair SA

Plair SA develops and manufactures professional systems for real-time bioaerosol monitoring and preventive environmental monitoring. The company’s proprietary state-of-the-art technology forms the basis of its intelligent detectors that provide high-quality and continuous environmental measurements in all weather conditions. Plair SA is headquartered in Geneva and was founded in 2014 as a spin-off from the University of Geneva.

The innovation project aims to support the development of a solution to obtain maximum coupling efficiency of a UV LED into an optical fibre under particular constraints. This innovation would allow the company to largely improve the performance of a new product line, currently in prototype stage, and open significant new market opportunities.
